Projection Presentation Technology, Inc. (PPT) is the in-house audio visual supplier for the Hawai‘i Convention Center. They are a full service audio visual company, offering a full range of audio visual equipment, sound reinforcement, video/data imaging, skilled technicians and other related services. The Center’s in-house audio and video distribution and reinforcement system are an exclusive service of PPT.
Outside audio visual suppliers are permitted in the building.

Business Center
Business services for attendees and exhibitors are provided at our Business Center located on the meeting room level of the Hawai`i Convention Center. Services include: black and white photocopying, transparencies, collating and binding, laminating, out bound shipping and packaging and computer related services.
You may schedule the hours of operation of the
Business Center according to the needs of your group.
Client Services
The Hawai`i Convention Center is dedicated to providing competitive destination support services that meet and exceed client expectations. We provide a comprehensive resource for statewide information on the products and services of Hawai`i. Consider us ‘your staff’ on location in Hawai`i to support and assist in the planning process of meetings, conventions, tradeshows and events.
Pre-convention Services:
Promotional Collateral Material
We will provide promotional literature to you for your attendees complimentary or at a minimal cost. Informative and colorful brochures suitable for promotional mailings are available to promote your meetings, convention or tradeshow. To receive a sample of the brochures, contact our Client Services Department.
Site Inspection Assistance
Our dedicated team of professionals can develop and produce a site itinerary for your pre-convention inspections of facilities, hotels, special venue sites and attractions. We will schedule appointments with appropriate staff and purveyors in advance of your arrival and accompany you to these meetings.
Attendance Building Assistance
One of the most essential services offered are HCC’s attendance building programs. We partner with the meeting planner to promote and build attendance for meetings coming to Hawai`i. Attendance promotion is customized with each group planner to meet the specific requirements of the organization. We provide several methods of services to support the group’s objectives. We support and create direct marketing programs and provide tradeshow marketing on-site at the previous year’s convention location.
Promotional Booths
Services provided at attendance promotions can include providing a complimentary destination table top display, promotional print materials, and HCC staff.
City-wide Convention Housing Services
Toll-free computerized, multi-hotel, convention housing reservation services are available to you and your delegates, attendees and guests. The Hawai`i hotel community partners with the Hawai`i Convention Center and a contractor to provide this service to you for a fee. On-site Services:
The Hawai`i Convention Center provides a preferred vendor list of Temporary Service Agencies that offer dedicated personnel to work on-site at your meeting, convention or trade-show as clerks, typist, CRT operators, cashiers, information specialists and concierges.
The Hawai`i Convention Center and its contractor will staff an informational dining desk in the main lobby. This service is offered complimentary to all conventions and meetings held at the Center. Print information on Oahu and neighbor island activities and attractions is available at the kiosk.
Banner Program
The Hawai`i Convention Center offers a banner program to promote awareness of your convention and to share our “aloha” with convention attendees, delegates and guests. The program places banners on light stands fronting the Convention Center and designated areas at the Honolulu International Airport. This service is available at a nominal cost.
Member Discounts
Ala Moana Shopping Center, Hilo Hattie, and Macy's are offering discounts to major convention attendees and guests. These discounts will be identifiable through printed discount materials provided by the participating merchants.

Global Outreach Program
Hawai‘i provides a warm and welcoming environment for first time international delegates to experience a US convention. The Hawai‘i Convention Center’s Global Outreach Program, an international marketing and promotions resource, supports the efforts of organizations that are ready to reach out to the Pacific Rim.
Our staff will work with you to customize a promotional program that can include translation of materials and e-blasts, working with international travel company partners, identifying sister associations abroad, advertising and editorial in Asian journals, and promoting at conferences in Asia – all designed to help expand and extend your presence in key Asian markets.
Innovative tools like multi-language microsites and mobile apps help your international delegates navigate smoothly through the details of your conference, as well as plan their whole trip.
