Getting to the Center

The Hawai‘i Convention Center is centrally located in the heart of Honolulu, at the gateway to Waikiki, on the corner of Kalakaua Avenue and Kapi‘olani Boulevard. It is conveniently located 8 miles (12 km) from the Honolulu International Airport and within 1.5 miles of 28,000 hotel rooms in all price categories, plus an array of shopping, dining, and entertainment venues.

Driving Directions

From Honolulu International Airport
Upon exiting the Airport terminal, take the H-1 EAST on-ramp
Stay in your right lane and exit onto NIMITZ HIGHWAY
Drive approximately 6 miles on NIMITZ HIGHWAY (which later becomes Ala Moana Blvd.)
Turn LEFT onto ATKINSON DRIVE
Turn RIGHT onto KAPI‘OLANI AVENUE
Turn RIGHT onto KALAKAUA AVENUE
Entrance to the parking garage is on the RIGHT

From Waikiki
Proceed WEST on ALA WAI BOULEVARD
Turn LEFT onto NIU STREET (Note: Niu Street turns into Ala Moana Blvd.)
Turn RIGHT onto ATKINSON DRIVE
Turn RIGHT onto KAPI‘OLANI AVENUE
Turn RIGHT onto KALAKAUA AVENUE
Entrance to the parking garage is on the RIGHT

From H-1 Eastbound
Take the PUNAHOU STREET Exit
Merge RIGHT onto Punahou Street
At the 1st stoplight, turn RIGHT onto BERETANIA STREET
At the next stoplight, turn LEFT onto KALAKAUA AVENUE
Proceed approximately ½ mile
Entrance to the parking garage is on the RIGHT

From H-1 Westboun
Take the KING STREET Exit
Proceed approximately 1.5 miles (Note: King Street changes to Beretania Street)
Turn LEFT onto KALAKAUA AVENUE and proceed approximately ½ mile
Entrance to the parking garage is on the RIGHT
 

Public Bus Transportation (“TheBus”)

Public transportation to the Hawai‘i Convention Center from the airport and all parts of O‘ahu is available on “TheBus”. For information on routes, times and fares, call (808) 848-5555 or visit their website at www.thebus.org.
 

Parking

On-site vehicle parking is available at the Hawai‘i Convention Center. The parking garage is located on the 2nd floor of the facility and the entrance is located on Kalakaua Avenue. The garage can accommodate 690 vehicles and the maximum vehicle height is 8’11”. ADA accessible parking is available in Row A of the garage. Parking is allowed during business/event hours only. Our parking lot opens one hour before and closes one hour after an event. Overnight parking is not allowed.

The daily parking rate is $5.00 per entry. If you exit within 30 minutes of entering the garage, there is no charge for parking. Attendees and exhibitors who wish to have unlimited in and out privileges during normal garage hours may purchase a parking card at the Parking Cashier booth for $35.00. Cards are valid for the duration of your event and may be purchased from our Security Department (Ph. 808-943-3000). Exhibitors in standard sized vehicles should park in Row F for unloading and loading and freight elevator access. Exhibitors with oversized vehicles are required to make a dock reservation in advance by calling (808) 943-3018 or emailing dockres@hccsmg.com.
